Signal, not noise

Why I still chase clean interfaces in a world full of flashy ones.

I grew up with a computer before I grew up with a driver’s license. That matters more than it sounds.

When you spend years sitting in front of a machine, you learn which interfaces feel honest and which ones feel loud for no reason. I build for the first kind.

Quiet craft

Good software does not need to shout. It needs weight, rhythm, and intent — the same things a drawing needs when rain is falling and you only have a few lines left on the page.

This site is that kind of room: minimal, a little hand-drawn, and slow enough that you can hear yourself think.

Stack as tools, not identity

TypeScript, React, Next.js — these are tools I use well. Rust and C are tools I am learning carefully. None of them are a personality. The personality is the curiosity that started when I was about ten and never switched off.
